Today New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced that selected restaurants and cultural institutions across the five boroughs would partner with the city in saluting military veterans, active U.S. service members, and their families over Memorial Day weekend. From Saturday, May 24, through Monday, May 26, participating restaurants will offer special dining deals to individuals who present a valid military ID.

Here are a few of the restaurants that have joined in this partnership:

Amélie (Upper West Side) – 20% discount
566 Amsterdam Ave., Upper West Side, Manhattan
The restaurant has won Michelin recognition in the Bib Gourmand category.

135 E. 62nd St., Upper East Side, Manhattan
The menu features contemporary American cuisine, often accented by David Burke’s signature playful approach.
