“We wanted to create a warm and welcoming space where seemingly opposing concepts — morning and night, coffee and wine, the baker’s counter and the bar — live in harmony.” So says co-founder Uliks Fehmiu by way of explaining the concept behind his latest venture in Rockefeller Center, The Tipsy Baker.

The newcomer, which opened on Wednesday, starts off the day as a café and bakery, greeting its morning clientele with specialty lattes, iced coffees, and teas alongside its renowned, freshly baked Viennoiseries. There are also breakfast sandwiches to choose from, such as Russ & Daughters smoked salmon on brioche bun or veggie croissant with goat cheese and roasted tomato.

As the day winds down, the space eases into a bustling bistro where friends can meet and unwind over beer, wine, and spirits while dining on dishes from a menu that bears Mediterranean, French, and Middle Eastern culinary influences.
