This weekend Miller Lite takes aim at the shared economy by launching its own “Grill Share” program. Grilling is out of reach for 30% of U.S. households. So before the summer season ends, Miller Lite is helping the yearning grill-less by expanding grill access with a new, first-of-its-kind sharing program, Miller Lite “Grill Share.”

These days we ride share, bike share ― even screen share. Now you can “Grill Share.” In select cities, grill-seekers can rent grills to-go and roll to their preferred grilling location for some summertime Miller Time. The process is simple. You reserve your spot at MillerLiteGrillShare.com, or simply visit a local Grill Share station (more below).

Each Grill Share rental comes complete with a spatula, apron, folding beach chair with umbrella, and a $25 gift card for supplies.

If you live in Brooklyn, the news is even better. On Friday, Aug. 12 and Saturday, Aug. 13, the Grill Share station at Putting Green, 26 N. 1st Street in Williamsburg will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The best part? It’s free! Simply roll your grill to a designated space nearby or wherever your cookout might be and get cooking.
