Learn to Make Food from One of Shakespeare’s Plays

William Shakespeare

I’ve heard the line from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” cast as “What foods these morsels be.” But short of that, I was unaware that the Bard featured many dining scenes in his plays.

Here to disabuse you of that notion is actor and cookbook author, John Tufts, who will be preparing a recipe from a work of Shakespeare virtually, then provide some history of the plays themselves. Unfortunately, the event is tonight. (I apologize for such short notice, but we just got wind of the event ourselves within the hour.)

You will also receive a copy of the recipe so you can prepare it at home for all the knaves and damsels in your life. Tickets, which may be purchased here, cost $12.99. Bring your own mead.
