Black Seed Bagels is partnering with top-drawer tinned fish purveyor Minnow for a series of free summer pop-ups you won’t want to miss. Nota bene: These will be complimentary giveaways — no strings attached!
The chefs at Hart’s, Cervo’s and the newly opened Eel Bar in SoHo, have each created unique preparations featuring Minnow’s smoked trout served on a bagel from Black Seed’s classic New York coffee cart, which will be stationed outside the restaurants. (What’s smoked fish on a bagel without a cup of joe?)
The pop-up schedule is as follows:
- Saturday Aug. 3, Eel Bar: Black Seed sea salt bagel topped with Minnow smoked trout, fresh cheese, Basque pickled peppers, served open-faced.
- Saturday Aug. 17, Hart’s: Black Seed poppy seed bagel, Minnow smoked trout, whipped ricotta, tomatoes, chili.
- Saturday Sept. 7, at Cervo’s: Black Seed plain bagel, Minnow smoked trout, tortilla Española, pickled onions, aïoli.
Each pop-up is first come, first served and takes place between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
