Now you see a return to buck-a-slice pizza, now you don’t. Now you do again, but there are several caveats attending this promotion.
For starters, you have to order online. You can’t just walk up to the counter of your favorite slice shop and drop a dollar. For another, you have to place your order through Seamless, which is brokering the deal with some 40-plus pizzerias around town. And even then, you can’t just use your Seamless app to make the purchase. Instead, you are required to use a special URL — seamlessdollarslice.com — to consummate the deal. Finally, the deal is time-limited. It starts today, Apr. 22, and runs through May 20.
Odem Mountain Winery Breaks a Glass Ceiling
On June 11 and 12, James Suckling’s Great Wines World USA will be held in New York at the Glasshouse on Manhattan’s West Side. The walkaround tasting event is one of the wine industry’s most prestigious, featuring 360 renowned wineries and over 800 exceptional wines.
This year, Odem Mountain Winery, located in Israel’s northern Golan Heights, will make history, becoming the first-ever Israeli winery invited to participate in the tasting event. Odem Mountain will present two standout labels: Odem Mountain Special Edition Alfasi, the winery’s flagship wine, and Odem Mountain Reserve Nebbiolo.
Tickets, which may be purchased here, are $120 for single-day admission, and $200 for two-day admission.
